Ariana Grande is signaling a major shift in her career as she prepares to launch her 2026 Eternal Sunshine Tour. The global pop star revealed that this upcoming run could be her “one last hurrah—for now,” hinting that large‐scale touring may take a back seat in her future.
On the Good Hang with Amy Poehler podcast, Grande offered a rare glimpse into her mindset. At age 32, she said she’s approaching her art and career with a new lens. While excited about returning to the stage, she made clear that the next decade of her professional life might look very different. “It might not happen again for a long, long, long, long time,” she warned.
The tour will support her 2024 studio album Eternal Sunshine, and marks her first major tour since 2019. But Grande emphasized that this one is guided not just by commercial momentum but by personal authenticity. She stated that after years of focusing on pop music and large arena tours, she’s increasingly drawn to roles that feel “right in the moment” — including musical theatre and film.
Indeed, she has acting projects on the horizon and said that the stage is no less important, but not necessarily the default path. The tour opens June 6, 2026, in Oakland, California, and wraps up with shows in London later that summer. Fans should expect a celebratory, possibly farewell‑style set of performances: Grande called this outing a chance to go “all in” and create something special for herself and her audience.
While she stopped short of declaring “never again,” Grande made it clear this could be the end of an era. Whether she returns to touring on a similar scale is uncertain, but one thing is definite: when she does perform, it will be on her own terms.
