Ari Lennox’s Track “Waste My Time” Has Made It’s Way to Number 1 at R&B Radio

Ari Lennox has a hit new track at R&B radio titled, “Waste My Time.” produced by The Loxe and Tim Suby that made its way to number one this week.

“Waste My Time” is Lennox’s third number one track and the second off of her second album, age/sex/location, after the track “Pressure.” Age/sex/location was released in summer of 2022 and debuted at Number 13 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart.

Previously, Lennox performed “Waste My Time” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and the 2022 Soul Train Awards. Meanwhile, Lennox ended her headlining age/sex/location Tour on March 29th at The Howard Theatre in her hometown of Washington, D.C. Originally launching the tour in January along with guests Alex Vaughn and Jai’Len Josey.

Recently, Lennox joined Vaughn for a remix of “Demon Time.” The track is on Vaughn’s latest album, The Hurtbook (Homegirl Pack), which is an expanded edition of her debut EP, The Hurtbook.

In other news, Lennox will be starting her European portion of her tour at Bataclan in Paris, with the three dates also stopping at London and Amsterdam. Prior to going overseas, Lennox will be seen performing at the Dreamville Festival hosted by her label head J. Cole and in June will be traveling to Philadelphia to perform at Roots Picnic.
