On May 24, the 41st Annual Gracie Awards Gala will be taking place and we have a big star confirmed as playing during it. That star is Andra Day!
For those that don’t know, the Gracie Awards are all about giving notice to those that do great work and are done by women, for women, and/or about women. The event is put on by the Alliance for Women in Media and they obviously approve of the great work that Andra Day has done as an artist in today’s day and age.
While the award ceremony will celebrate the winners of this award on May 24, they will celebrate more than that on a later day. On June 21, they will be holding a lunch designed to honor winners at the local, public, and student levels.
