Anderson .Paak and Smokey Robinson’s ‘Make It Better’ is Now Officially Certified Gold

Anderson .Paak and Smokey Robinson have recently earned a new award from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), for their single, “Make It Better,” from .Paak’s Grammy-winning album Ventura. The single is now certified gold with more than 500,000 equivalent units sold. The track is the first from Ventura to be honored with a certification and is also his second gold award this year, after “Bubblin,” crowned in April.

.Paak’s most certified release to date is “Leave The Door Open,” a single released as Silk Sonic, an R&B duo made up of him and Bruno mars. The track has been certified 2x multi-platinum with over two million equivalent units. .Paak also has a nod for Album of the Year for Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe), with song writing credits on “Here With Me,” “No Idea” and “Love Without the Heartbreak.”

In other news, NxWorries, a hip-hop soul duo that features .Paak and producer Knxwledge, released a track titled “Where I Go” featuring H.E.R. The duo will headline Cross The Tracks 2022 in London in the spring of 2023.
