Bon was born in Scotland, but moved to Australia as a young boy. He spent time in juvenile detentions for being a small-time criminal. He tried to enlist in the military, but they rejected him for being ‘socially unacceptable.’ His official cause of death is listed as ‘alcohol intoxication.’
