Amon Amarth and Dethklok Unite for Epic 2026 North American Tour

Amon Amarth and Dethklok are joining forces in 2026 for a co‑headlining North American tour dubbed the “Amonklok Conquest.” The spring trek marks the first time the two heavy‑hitting metal acts will share center stage. Filling out the bill will be Castle Rat, a rising force in what’s being called the New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal.

The tour launches on April 15, 2026 in Phoenix, Arizona, and runs through May 21 in Las Vegas, Nevada. In between, it covers a broad swath of cities across the U.S. and Canada — including stops in Houston, Minneapolis, Brooklyn, Toronto, Salt Lake City and more.

For Amon Amarth, the tour rides on the tail of their 2022 record, while hinting at a new release expected next year. For Dethklok, the run celebrates the 20th anniversary of the band — a milestone in the legacy of what began as a fictional animated metal group turned real-world entity. Castle Rat, meanwhile, brings raw old‑school metal energy every night, acting as the perfect opener for the high‑dramatic main sets to come.

Fans who attend should expect an intense metal spectacle blending Viking‑themed death metal, animated metal theatrics, and classic heavy‑metal sensibilities. The Amonklok Conquest promises to be one of the most exciting metal tours of 2026.
