The Song “American Pie” became an instant classic upon its release in 1971; a touching homage to the late Buddy Holly and that fateful plane crash in 1959, killing Buddy, the Big Bopper, and Ritchie Valens. It’s just been announced that the album that is nearly 50 years old will be released again in vinyl in a remastered destitution.
