Alicia Keys’ Track ‘No One’ Is Close to Achieving Diamond Status

Alicia Keys is coming close to her very first RIAA diamond-certified single. Her 2007 track, “No One” is now certified 9x multi-platinum after selling nine million equivalent units. The track is co-produced by Keys and Kerry “Krucial” Brothers, and pushed over one million units since September of 2022, when it was certified 8 times multi-platinum.

The 9 million units sold has Keys only one million units short of achieving a diamond plaque from the RIAA, that gets awarded after singles or albums sell at least 10 million units.

No One also managed to earn Keys two awards at the 50th Grammy Awards, that included Best Female R&B Vocal performance and Best R&B Song. Keys previously mentioned how “No One” almost was never released explaining via a 2019 tweet, “No One almost didn’t make the album, it was the last song written. It felt like magic in the room that night.”

The track comes from KEYS II, which is a deluxe edition of Keys 2021 double album. The album was released in August of 2022 and includes the hit “Stay” featuring Lucky Daye.

Alicia Keys also released a visual for the track earlier this month that was directed by jean Sebastien and Kamerameha.
