Alice Cooper Reunites Original Band for First Album in Over 50 Years

Alice Cooper is reuniting with his original bandmates—guitarist Michael Bruce, bassist Dennis Dunaway, and drummer Neal Smith—for their first album together in over five decades. Titled The Revenge of Alice Cooper, the album is set for release on July 25, 2025, via earMUSIC. This marks their first collaboration since 1973’s Muscle of Love.

The album pays tribute to late guitarist Glen Buxton, who passed away in 1997, featuring two tracks with his contributions. The first single, “Black Mamba,” is scheduled to debut on April 22 via Cooper’s radio show.

Producer Bob Ezrin, who worked with the band in the 1970s, noted that their chemistry remains intact, likening their interactions to those of high school friends. Fans have expressed excitement online, with many hoping for a tour.

The Alice Cooper Band formed in 1968 and disbanded in 1975 after releasing seven albums. Their reunion for The Revenge of Alice Cooper signifies a significant moment in rock history, blending nostalgia with renewed creativity.
