Alice Cooper Has an Upcoming Book About Him

Alice Cooper’s upcoming book takes a look at the career and life of Alice Cooper from “teenage garage rocker to international star and celebrity.” The book is written by veteran rock journalist, Gary Graff and is titled Alice Cooper @ 75 breaks his accomplishments down to “75 career accomplishments, events and partnerships” to complete an “unprecedented retrospective.” The book will be available for purchase starting January 31st, just before Cooper’s 75th birthday on February fourth.

Alice Cooper has widely established himself for over five decades as one of rock’s boldest performers, often including whips, guillotines, live pythons, gallows and plenty of blood. He is often referred to as the godfather of shock rock and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2011.

A release also noted that, “every page is illustrated with stunning concert and candid offstage photography, as well as gig posters, vinyl record sleeves, ticket stubs, period ads and more. Bonus material includes a sturdy slipcase, a gatefold timeline, two pullout posters and an unpublished 8×10.”

Alice Cooper is set to tour next year to support Motley Crue and Def Leppard, starting with a few U.S. dates and then continuing in Latin America.
