Country artist Alana Springsteen had to cancel her scheduled shows for the weekend after her tour bus caught fire on the morning of October 24. The “taylor did” singer took to Instagram Stories to share the news and express her gratitude that everyone on board was safe, saying, “I’m beyond grateful to God that everyone on our team and crew is safe and unharmed.”
Springsteen also thanked first responders who helped ensure the crew’s safety. “Our gear and belongings didn’t make it through,” she added, confirming the cancellation of her opening performances for Tyler Hubbard’s Strong World Tour dates in Cedar Park, Fort Worth, and Houston, Texas.
This unexpected halt comes just after Springsteen’s recent release of two new songs, “cowboy” and “hold my beer.” According to Springsteen, the paired release captures her journey of self-discovery, as “cowboy” reflects her past, while “hold my beer” represents her future.
There’s no word yet on when Springsteen will resume the tour, but updates are expected through her Instagram.
