It has been announced that Alan Jackson will hit the road next month, and fans are invited, but only if they stay in their cars.
The country music star will perform a pair of shows as part of his first-ever Small Town Drive-In concerts presented by Pepsi. The first show will be held in Cullman’s open-field site that usually hosts the Rock the South music festival on Friday, June 5th. The second show will be held in Fairhope’s Oak Hollow Farm on Saturday, June 6th. The Cory Farley Band will open the show for Jackson.
A portion of the proceeds from the Small Town Drive-In concerts will benefit COVID-19 food relief efforts.
Per the CDC and Alabama’s social distancing measures, the drive in concerts will accommodate 2,000 parked vehicles at the different outdoor venues, where concertgoers can enjoy the show from and order concessions via phone orders.
Tickets went on sale Wednesday, May 27th on Jackson’s website, with general admission per vehicle (up to two passengers) prices at $99.99. Additional passenger tickets can be purchased for $39.99 each.
And for those wanting to score the closest thing to seeing the Country Music Hall of Famer in the “front row,” fans can purchase a limited amount of VIP parking spots starting at $199.99.
