Aerosmith & Yungblud Drop First New Song in Over a Decade — My Only Angel

Aerosmith is back in the studio, teaming up with Yungblud on their first original track since Music from Another Dimension! (2012). The collaborative single, titled My Only Angel, was recently teased via a preview clip showing Steven Tyler and Yungblud harmonizing in the studio. The moment ends with Tyler affectionately calling the performance “Fuckin’ A!” and Yungblud responding, “Fucking great, man!”

In the snippet, Tyler and Yungblud float lyrics that reflect longing and heartbreak — “Would you cry if I called you my angel / Gotta leave, gotta leave, gotta leave you / One more time” — suggesting My Only Angel will lean into classic raw rock-emotion with modern alt flair.

This release comes on the heels of their joint appearance at the 2025 MTV VMAs, where they paid tribute together to Ozzy Osbourne. Aerosmith had officially stepped back from touring after Tyler suffered vocal cord damage, and the band has not released new original music in more than a decade.

My Only Angel is up for pre-save now. Fans are buzzing not only because it marks Aerosmith’s return, but also because the pairing with Yungblud bridges generations and styles in rock, potentially signaling more surprises ahead.
