This week we have talked a lot about the Grammys, and rightfully so. The award show happened on Monday night, blowing people away with the performances, awards, and speeches. After talking about all of these winners, it got us thinking. Where do some of the biggest names in the music game rank for most wins ever at the Grammys?
One artist in particular who has a shot at being at the top of the leaderboard for most Grammy wins period is Adele. Her recent work on her album “25” has been monumental and without surprise, has sold millions and millions of records. We could easily see her receive 10-plus nominations when the fall rolls around and the next year’s Grammy nominations come out.
Currently, Adele ranks ninth with 10 Grammy wins for a woman. Unlike many artists, she has won a very high percentage of Grammys she has been nominated for. Her 10 wins on 13 nominations is quite impressive. Her first win came in 2009 and most recently she has won Best Song Written for Visual Media in 2014. When 2017’s Grammys have come and gone, we think it’s quite possible she has 15+ Grammy wins, her latest music is that good.
