It has been five years since Adele has graced the stage before her fans, and the beloved singer is finally returning in July 2022 for two hometown shows in London’s Hyde Park. Summer of 2017 was the time of her last show after unexpectedly having to cancel her two final performances due to injuring her vocal cords.
Adele announced details about her upcoming shows on her Instagram, following an exciting slew of announcements this month, with a simple “Oii Oiiiiiiiiiiiii” plus a heart emoji as a caption. She will be joining Elton John, Pearl Jam, and Duran Duran as part of BST Hyde Park’s summer series.
The two shows, which are the only official performances announced by Adele so far, will take place on July 1st and 2nd. 30, her highly-anticipated album, will be dropping on November 19th, giving fans plenty of months to fall in love with the next chapter in Adele’s career.
