Adam Lambert Shares Cover Of Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Holding Out For A Hero’

Adam Lambert just recently shared a new cover of Bonnie Tyler’s classic “Holding Out For A Hero” off of his upcoming album. He is set to release the new covers album, High Drama, on February 24th. The album is the singer’s first covers album ever. It will also feature renditions of classic songs like Ann Peebles’ “I Can’t Stand The Rain” and modern hits like Billie Eilish’s “Getting Older” and Lana Del Rey’s “West Coast.”

Lambert also has released a cover of Duran Duran’s “Ordinary World” along with announcing the album just last month. While “Holding Out for a Hero” was recorded by Tyler for the soundtrack to the 1984 film Footloose, it later was featured on her sixth studio album, Secret Dreams and Forbidden Fire.

The singer released a cover of Duran Duran’s “Ordinary World” along with the announcement of the album last month. The Queen frontman had also performed the track on the season finale of NBC’s “The Voice” on December 13. While the track was originally produced by Jim Steinman, who co-wrote the song with Dean Pitchford, and was a Top 40 hit in several countries as well as Canada and the United States.
