The game belonged to A’ja Wilson, who poured in 35 points to lead the charge, while Jackie Young added 32—making them the first teammates in WNBA playoff history to score 30+ in the same game. Their shared brilliance proved decisive in a series that tested the Aces’ resolve time and again.
Indiana’s valiant effort came with a heavy toll: Kelsey Mitchell exited with cramping in the third quarter, a blow to the Fever’s chances. Despite missing key contributors—among them star guard Caitlin Clark—they rallied hard, tying the game late in regulation via Odyssey Sims’s bucket with 22.5 seconds left.
The Aces’ journey to the Finals has been anything but linear.
