AC/DC Announces First U.S. Tour in Nearly a Decade: 2025 Power Up North American Tour

Get ready to rock! AC/DC is officially returning to the U.S. for the first time in nine years with their 2025 Power Up North American Tour. The legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame®-inducted band will kick off their highly anticipated tour next spring, performing in 13 stadiums across North America, including a single Ohio date at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland on May 28, 2025.

This marks a triumphant return to U.S. soil for the band, whose last North American shows were in 2016 during their Rock or Bust tour. Tickets for the 2025 shows go on sale Friday, Dec. 6, at 12 p.m.

Powering Up for a Legendary Tour
The tour is named after AC/DC’s 2020 album, Power Up, which debuted at #1 in 21 countries, including their third #1 debut on the Billboard 200. The album was a global success, ranking among Rolling Stone’s and Consequence of Sound’s “Top 50 Albums of 2020.” Featuring hit singles like “Shot In The Dark,” Power Up earned GRAMMY® nominations for “Best Rock Album,” “Best Rock Performance,” and “Best Music Video.”

In 2024, AC/DC packed European stadiums with the Power Up tour, proving the band’s electrifying live performances continue to resonate with fans of all generations.

A Legacy Like No Other
Since their first performance on December 31, 1973, at Sydney’s Chequers Nightclub, AC/DC has cemented their status as one of the most influential rock bands in history. With over 200 million albums sold worldwide, their Back in Black LP holds the record as the bestselling album by any band and the third bestselling album by any artist, with over 50 million copies sold globally.

Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame® in 2003, AC/DC’s legacy spans five decades of sold-out stadium tours, timeless anthems, and streams in the billions. Their influence only grows stronger, as they continue to captivate both long-time fans and new generations of rock enthusiasts.

Giving Back to the Rock Community
As part of their Cleveland concert, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s education programs and resources, ensuring the next generation of musicians and fans can experience the power of rock.

Who’s Ready to Rock?
With Angus Young leading on guitar, Brian Johnson on vocals, Stevie Young on rhythm guitar, Matt Laug on drums, and Chris Chaney on bass, AC/DC promises to deliver the high-voltage energy that made them rock legends. Their 2025 Power Up North American Tour is more than a concert series; it’s a celebration of rock ‘n’ roll history.
