Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers took to social media to share some gratitude and reflection amid speculation about what his future may or may not look like in regard to the NFL.
The four-time MVP said that he has yet to come to a decision about his post-season plans. In lieu of making the said decision, Rodgers made an Instagram post thanking a number of individuals for their impact on his professional football career.
Rodgers thanked Packers coach Matt LaFleur, reserve quarterbacks Jordan Love and Kurt Benkert, former Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, quarterback coach Luke Getsy, and a few others.
“You guys made every day so much fun and I’m so thankful for the daily laughs and stress relief you brought me every week of the year,” Rodgers said. “I love you guys.”
“To my teammates, past and current, you are the icing on the beautiful cake we call our job: football,” the post continued. “The friendships that we have will transcend our collective time in this game and I am so thankful for the role that each of you have played in making my life that much better. I love you guys and cherish the memories we’ve made.”
