A Lynyrd Skynyrd Documentary You Have to See

Lynyrd Skynyrd continues to make news; they’re on a lengthy farewell tour, and now the subject of a documentary called ‘If I Leave Here Tomorrow’ which will cover the bands horrific plane crash through the aftermath, leaving no stone unturned in the sorted details of rock and roll. The documentary will premiere on the Showtime network August 18th 9pm Est. The documentary is narrated by Guitarist Gary Rossington, one of the surviving members of the original lineup.

Before taking the name of their highs school basketball coach Leonard Skinner, they used the band names One Percent, Noble Five, and My Backyard. Did you know that the band Aerosmith once owned the plane that went down with Lynyrd Skynyrd? They stopped using it a year earlier after they deemed it unsafe to fly.
