Remembering Whitney – Part Two

Whitney Houston passed away only days from the 2012 Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles. The recent Grammy show brought back him memory of her life and death, so let’s finish our look at the icon and wonderful Whitney Houston.

Whitney was wonderful in the film ‘The Bodyguard’ with Kevin Costner, but that wasn’t the only movie she was ever in. She appeared in nine movies from 1992 to 2013.

The Bodyguard soundtrack’s single “I Will Always Love You” was written and originally recorded by Dolly Parton nearly 25 years earlier.

The Guinness World Records call her the most awarded female act of all time, having sold over 200, million records during her brief career.

On February 11, Whitney Houston was found unconscious in Suite 434 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, submerged in the bathtub. The medical examiner ruled her death accidental.
