A Florida judge just ruled that Drake won’t be sitting for a deposition over the murder of XXXtentacion. The judge seems to agree that Drake has no connection to the case. Previously, defense attorneys for one of XXX’s alleged killers was attempting to question Drake over the alleged issues the late rapper had with Drake prior to his death in 2018.
However, Drake’s lawyers argued that bringing him into the case without evidence linking him to the crime is “unreasonable and oppressive.”
In a February 14th ruling, Judge Michael Usan sided with Drake’s attorneys, reportedly signing off on an order that voids a subpoena that would have required that Drake sit for a deposition.
