A Fab Four Bite

How about another Beatles Bite to make your day? Really, who doesn’t love the Fab Four?

The early Beatles song “All My Lovin” from 1963 was a hit with the kids, mom, dad, and garage bands across the US. This Lennon McCartney classic comes from the album “With the Beatles,” but the song was never released as a single. Great Britain and the United States did not get to play the song initially, rather it was Canada that received the single from the record company. They played the song on pop radio, and prompted everyone else to begin playing it as a single.

Paul actually wanted it to be a country and western song, having George play guitar with a Nashville style, but nobody liked the idea when they were in the studio, so it was recorded in the typical fare. Paul reveals later that the inspiration for the song came from the jazz great Dave Brubeck’s early work in 1959.

A few months ago, the guitar used the acoustic guitar used by John Lennon was sold in auction for tremendous amount of money – nearly $1.4 million.
