Luke Bryan has turned his deep roots in country heritage into something uniquely musical and personal. More than a decade ago, the Georgia‑born singer wondered whether the black walnut trees growing on his Tennessee farm could do more than shade his fields. His question to luthier Dana Bourgeois ignited a long‑term collaboration rooted in patience and craftsmanship.
Rather than rushing a signature endorsement model, Bryan and Bourgeois took their time. After choosing prime boards from the trees on Bryan’s Flint Rock Farms, the walnut wood was allowed to age and cure in Bourgeois’s Maine workshop for ten years. The result is a pair of acoustic guitars that feel less like celebrity merchandise and more like instruments with a story to tell.
The crowning achievement is the Luke Bryan Signature Limited Edition guitar. Handcrafted in Maine, its back and sides come from Bryan’s own farm walnut, paired with a torrefied Adirondack spruce top for tone that is both punchy and warm. Custom antler inlays pay homage to Bryan’s love of rural tradition, and every one of the 30 instruments made worldwide will be individually numbered and signed by him.
Alongside the collector‑level instrument, the Touchstone Edition brings the spirit of the project to a broader group of players, with its own walnut body and thoughtful design. Together, these guitars reflect the convergence of place, patience, and artistry—an echo of the values that shaped Bryan’s own musical journey.
