Chase Rice is new on the charts with a great song called “Three Chords and the Truth,” and rose to fame as the co-writer of the song “Cruise” made famous by Florida Georgia Line. Chase grew up on a farm in Asheville, North Carolina, attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a promising career as an NFL linebacker. Sadly an injury steered him to a career in music.
