Every chef has their go-to dish. Every singer has their most popular song. And every designer has their signature style. For Joanna Gaines, that’s shiplap. The star of HGTV’s Fixer Upper has made people across the country fall hard for this trend and long to have a shiplap wall of their own. The only problem? It’s actually super challenging to build yourself — especially if you’re not handy to begin with.
But don’t worry: Gaines has the solution. She just launched a line of Magnolia Home wallpapers, in a collaboration with York Wallcoverings, that includes a faux shiplap print that’ll let you create a statement wall (or two) without wood, nails or white paint. “Wallcoverings are such a simple way to personalize a space,” Gaines says in an announcement on the yorkwall.com.”They have the ability to completely transform a room where there seems to be something missing.”
The rest of the line features more country-chic styles viewers frequently find in her designs, such as a Victorian-inspired chalkboard print and a market print, which features blueprints from the Gaines’ Magnolia Market silos in Waco, Texas. And, of course, tried-and-true patterns like buffalo check and newspaper prints are part of her line as well. But perhaps the best thing about this new collection: they’re Peel And Stick! What could be easier?
The Magnolia Home collection is now available at nationwide and also at York Wallcoverings.
