McDonald’s Has Partnered With Travis Scott For A New Burger And Merchandise

There’s something exciting happening at McDonald’s that hasn’t been done since 1992. The fast food chain has partnered with Travis Scott, the first celebrity to be featured on McDonald’s menu since Michael Jordan, to create a new burger and merchandise.  From Sept. 8 to Oct. 4, you can order The Travis Scott, which is a beef Quarter Pounder with Cheese, bacon, and lettuce. If you order “The Travis Scott” meal, you’ll also get medium French fries with BBQ Sauce for dipping and a Sprite. Not bad for $6, right?

Although that does sound like a tasty lunch or dinner, that’s not the part that TS fans are most excited about. The Cactus Jack x McDonald’s merch is truly one-of-a-kind and will add to the experience of heading to the drive-thru. There is a I’m Lovin’ It lunch tray, life-size cutout of Travis Scott, vintage metal lunch box, basketball jersey, Styrofoam cup, hats, and more!

But the real big ticket item of the new merch is the Nugget Body Pillow. That’s right — you can snuggle with a pillow-sized Chicken McNugget, folks! The 36-inch pillow is in the McNugget bone shape (also called the bow tie), that looks so realistic, it just might make you hungry.  It comes with a McDonald’s tag attached to show it’s the real deal. You can order one for $90 and it’s expected to ship in 9 to 12 weeks. Just in time for Christmas?

“Travis is a true McDonald’s fan having grown up visiting our restaurants in Houston, not to mention one of the biggest musical acts and cultural icons in the world,” Morgan Flatley, McDonald’s U.S. chief marketing officer, said in a press release.  Although not specified, the Travis Scott and McDonald’s collaboration will have a charitable component through the month-long program. A nugget pillow, new burger, and charitable aspect? Sounds like a winner, winner, Chicken McNugget dinner!
