WWD broke the news that LeBron James‘ Miami boutique and brand UNKNWN has confirmed an upcoming collaboration with American fashion designer Thom Browne and his eponymous label.
The basketball superstar is a known fan of Browne, having been spotted numerous times wearing a Thom Browne suit on the NBA catwalk. LeBron even purchased and suited his whole Cavaliers team with Thom Browne suits during the 2018 playoffs. James has also made sure that Thom Browne’s designs were always stocked in his UNKNWN store, so it’s only fitting that the entities are finally joining forces.
WWD‘s report went on to state the collaborative collection will be comprised of nine pieces, however UNKNWN has not yet divulged any product breakdown. The collection will release online and in-store upon the opening of UNKNWN’s new location in the Wynwood district of Miami. UNKNWN Wynwood is slated to open its doors in December, though an official date has not yet been announced.
