On Friday, September 27th, Rupp Arena announced that ACM, CMA and CMT Award-winning artist Luke Combs’ What You See Is What You Get Tour set a new record for the fastest sell out in the Lexington, Kentucky, arena’s 43-year history.

“As Rupp Arena enters its 44th year, it’s very exciting to continue to break venue records,” said Oak View Group’s director of booking for Rupp Arena Brian Sipe in a statement. “Thanks to Live Nation, CAA, Make Wake Artists Management and of course Mr. Combs himself for playing Lexington on his 2020 tour. We look forward to celebrating this record-breaking performance with him next year.”

The tour date went on sale to the public at 10 a.m. EST Friday and sold out in 12 minutes, beating the previous record of 13 minutes set by Paul McCartney’s Freshen Up Tour in June 2019.

The ‘What You See Is What You Get’ Tour will play Rupp Arena on Valentine’s Day, February 14th 2020. The show that night will feature special guests Ashley McBryde and Drew Parker,
