On Tuesday, August 13th, Tool finally unveiled the track list for their extremely anticipated album, Fear Inoculum. The project is slated to drop August 30th.
The digital version of the release will feature all those tracks as well as three additional segue interludes between the songs, “Litanie contre la Peur,” “Legion Inoculant” and “Mockinbeat.” Each physical CD will also feature a digital downoad.
The seven-track project that fans have waited a long 13 years for will include two songs fans have already heard live, “Descending” and “Invincible,” as well as the title track and new compositions entitled “Pneuma,” “Culling Voices,” “Chocolate Chip Trip” and “7empest.”
The album’s 10:22 title track dropped last week and notched a record as the longest track to ever appear on the Billboard Hot 100 chart when it debuted at No. 93, besting the previous record holder, David Bowie’s 9:57 “Blackstar.” Fear Inoculum is the follow-up to 2006’s 10,000 Days. Tool also recently made all their previous albums and 1992’s Opiate EP available on streaming and digital services for the first time.
