The Band Perry Drop New Pop-Influenced Music Video For ‘The Good Life’

The Band Perry’s latest song “The Good Life” had a music video drop on Monday, July 29th. The visual paints the dark picture of a relationship that ends with infidelity. The trio’s new video for the song shows the aftermath of that deception as Kimberly Perry stars in the mystical visual as a woman attempting to get over the relationship.

The song’s somber lyrics come to life as Perry cruises into the mountains at dusk: “I don’t want an explanation/ I don’t want to still be friends/ I just want to break your neck,” she sings. Covered in an eerie red light, Perry’s ethereal vocals are at the forefront of the track. She’s seen driving away from a bad relationship in a car while three women wearing angel wings are spotted in the backseat.

“The Good Life” is their latest new track, with more songs expected from their forthcoming album in the coming months. The three siblings, Kimberly, Neil and Reid Perry, penned the song with Owen Thomas, with production by ARTRAT.

The Band Perry will embark on their The Good Life tour this fall. Watch the video for “The Good Life” here.
