It’s pretty well known that pop icon Taylor Swift loves putting small surprises (Easter eggs) into every project she does, and her Wango Tango performance is no exception.
On Saturday, June first, the pop singer did her part in hiding yet another one in her onstage performance at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, CA.
“There is a hint. The hint is that you have to find the hint… It’s going to be great, I think, when people realize what it is,” Swift told Ryan Seacreast. “I also know the Easter egg @taylorswift13 left on stage but promised I wouldn’t say,” Seacrest cryptically tweeted.
It was confirmed last month in an interview with Capital Breakfast’s Roman Kemp that there are three tiers of eggs in her latest “Me!” video, too. “I try to do Easter eggs in, like, first round is stuff they can see that predicts what will happen in a couple months,” she said. “There’s also like second-tier Easter eggs which will be revealed upon the album. Then there’s third-tier Easter eggs, which are the most deeply embedded Easter eggs which be shown on the tour.”
On Friday, June 7th, 8AM PT/ET, keep an eye out for the Easter egg when the performance re-airs on Freeform TV and check out the full interview here.
