The Texas Tenors back at #1 on Billboard after Electrifying Performance on America’s Got Talent: The Champions

Following their stunning performance on NBC’s new hit series, America’s Got Talent: The Champions, The Texas Tenors critically acclaimed album “Rise” rocketed back to #1 on the Billboard Classical Chart. Released in 2017, “Rise” debuted at #1 and spent 15 weeks in the top 10. Their limited release “A Collection of Broadway & American Classics” also debuted at #1 in 2018 and returned to the top 10 according to Soundscan and Billboard sales week ending 2/7/19.

In addition, their four previously released albums “The First 5 Years Live”, “You Should Dream”, “O Night Divine” and “Country Roots, Classical Sound: Remastered” all catapulted into the top 10 on the Classical Catalog Chart nabbing the top 3 spots. Their “Rise” DVD also charted on the Music Video Chart at #2 for the week.

On January 28, The Texas Tenors returned to the America’s Got Talent stage in the new spin-off series, AGT: The Champions. NBC’s hit series features the Top 50 acts from around the world competing to be the world champion. At the producers request, the trio performed classic Unchained Melody and received a standing ovation from all four judges and the audience. Judge and Executive Producer Simon Cowell declared “Great performance! Very good and really nice guys. You’ve gotten better with age!”

The Texas Tenors’ episode set a new season high best in total viewers for the series.

The Texas Tenors have performed over 1300 live concerts, earned 3 Emmy Awards and are recognized as the 3rd most successful musical act and the #1 vocal group in the history of America’s Got Talent. Marcus Collins, JC Fisher and John Hagen formed the group in 2009 to audition for the series and proudly remain self-managed and produced.

The trio, currently performing concerts around the country through the summer will embark on their 10th Anniversary Tour this fall.
