LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo picked their All-Star Game teams Thursday in a televised draft on TNT, and people on Twitter have a lot to say about it.
And while LeBron had some fun by making a tampering joke after picking Anthony Davis with his first pick in the second round, everyone noticed something about the majority of his early picks. He kicked off the thing by picking Kevin Durant with the No. 1 overall pick. Then he picked Kyrie Irving. And then he picked Kawhi Leonard.
All three of those players have been included at at some point in talks/rumors about possibly joining LeBron in LA next season. Do you sense a pattern? Throw in AD and Klay Thompson and many thought his picks might have had a deeper meaning to them.
