Steph Curry and Kevin Durant named All-Star starters

For the fourth year in a row, Steph Curry and Kevin Durant will be starters in the All-Star Game. The two Golden State Warriors MVPs were announced as starters on Thursday, to the surprise of absolutely no one.

It’s the tenth All-Star selection for Durant, and the sixth for Curry. We’ll have to wait until next week, when the league announces the reserves, to see if Klay Thompson and Draymond Green will be joining them.

Curry and Durant are joined by fellow Western Conference stars LeBron James, Paul George, and James Harden. The starters from the Eastern Conference are Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kawhi Leonard, Joel Embiid, Kyrie Irving, and Kemba Walker.

The 2019 All-Star Game takes place on Sunday, February 17, at 5:00 p.m., in Charlotte, North Carolina. The reserves will be announced on Thursday, January 31, and the draft will be televised on Thursday, February 7.
