Mary James to Entertain 15,000 Homeless at Christmas Gift Event

Guests attending the 15th Annual Operation Care Christmas Gift event will be delighted with the musical entertainment of four-time ICMA Female Vocalist of the Year, Mary James. She will share the message of hope that Christmas offers through her music. Mary will perform her #1 single “Overflow” from her latest album prior to motivational speaker Nick Vujicic, Life Without Limbs Founder, who will share an inspirational message for veterans. Ms. James & Nic Vujicicwill be joined by thousands of volunteers as they entertain and serve over 15,000 homeless individuals, including six thousand children on December 15th at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center from 8:30am to 3:00pm.

Ms. James has spent the last five months touring the United States with a message of “rising above” to those who are broken. “We are all broken – but we are desperately loved. With faith, you can rise above your circumstances and live truly liberated,” stated Mary James. “It is inspiring to see the heart of a city come together to remind others that they are not forgotten and are worthy of joy this time of year. I am so excited to be a part of Operation Care’s Christmas event.”

Mary James is an award-winning Inspirational Country artist, speaker and writer.  She recently performed at Union Gospel Mission Dallas’ Center of Hope Women and Children’s Shelter where she shared her own story with vulnerability, depth and a refreshing dose of candor. Those who hear Mary’s heart can’t help but find encouragement and the hope to believe transformation is possible.
