Country music as a community will be observing a “Moment of Silence” on the one-year anniversary of the Route 91 tragedy that occurred Oct. 1, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada. An act of terrorism took the lives of 58 people, injured attendees and their families, leaving thousands of people’s lives changed indefinitely.
On Monday, October 1, at 1:05pm ET, all radio stations in the state of Nevada, Country radio nationwide, record labels, publishers, agencies and other organizations will stop for 58 seconds in memory of the 58 victims to remember those lost and all that have been traumatized by this horrific tragedy one year ago. Anyone who may be connected in some way to Country music is encouraged to spread the word and participate. #CountryStrong #VegasStrong
