Don’t you just love college football season? This week’s slate of action may be the best we’ve had all season long, so get excited! There are multiple top 25 matchups, ranked teams on upset alert, and even a few non-top 25 matchups that intrigue us.
The big ranked matchups of the weekend include Ohio State at Penn State, West Virginia at Texas Tech, Oregon at Cal, BYU at Washington, and Stanford at Notre Dame. Two of those five are games between top 10 teams with one being a major rivalry!
Clemson lone regular-season loss last season was to Syracuse and look who is on the schedule for Saturday. They’ll be facing off against a Syracuse team that has scored 50+ points three times this season so the Tigers are definitely on upset alert. Florida heads to Mississippi State to face the Bulldogs in a very intriguing matchup. Florida’s head coach is going back to his former school to play and will be motivated to get the win on the road against the number 23 team in the country.
A few unranked matchups that intrigue us this week include USC at Arizona, Iowa State at TCU, and Florida State at Louisville.
