One of the frontier women of rock is the unstoppable Joan Jett, who this week has given permission to release all her early works in a collaborative deal with Sony Music Entertainment. The entire catalog of songs from her Blackheart Records label will be available for sale and consumption.
Included in offering is the 1980 solo debut ‘Bad Reputation,’ the 1981 ‘I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll’ LP, along with Glorious Results of a Misspent Youth, Fetish and Greatest Hits, Unvarnished, Pure and Simple, and the coveted I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll 33 1/3 Anniversary and Joan Jett — The First Sessions. Also, in the mix is the soundtrack to ‘Bad Reputation,’ the upcoming Jett documentary, due to be released September 28th.
