The 2018 NFL season is nearly upon as we have talked about in the past. What we have yet to talk about is who the top performers will be on the year. Fantasy football is all the rage these days whether it’s because it makes every game exciting or gives fun competition between friends and/or family. This year should be no different and today we give to you our top three fantasy players on the year…
Le’Veon Bell isn’t happy with his contract situation but playing poorly won’t help that. Instead, we expect him to get 250+ rushing attempts, 60+ receptions and about 10 or so touchdowns. That’s hard to find anywhere, let alone the running back position. Take him number one.
Todd Gurley had his breakout year last year, rushing for 1,305 yards and 13 touchdowns while adding 64 receptions and six more touchdowns. In total, he eclipsed 2,000 total yards! Those numbers are quite impressive and considering this Rams offense is only improving, we see these numbers as closer to his prime numbers than a one-hit wonder type of season.
It’s tough to separate those at this third overall position, so we’re going to go with more of a hunch pick. Ezekiel Elliot is a workhorse running back that should see about 300 carries on the season. He ran more times his rookie year (322), but suspension kept him to just 242 carries. With that being said, he should easily go over 1,000 rushing yards. With the news that he’s going to be a bigger part of the passing game, we love him at this third spot.
