‘Electric Light Orchestra – The U.K. Singles Volume One: 1972-1978′ Drops in September

“Telephone Man” “Don’t Bring Me Down” and “Mr. Blue Sky” were powerful singles from the 70s and 80s group Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) led by Jeff Lynn. Now the label and management team for ELO is about to release in September, a real find; ‘Electric Light Orchestra – The U.K. Singles Volume One: 1972-1978,’ the hits and ‘B’ sides of 15 great songs from that era.

Its hard to believe ELO began some 40 years ago as a band known as ‘The Move’ who had one song one song on the charts ‘Do You Really Want My Move” but ELO’s founder Jeff Lynn persisted, leading Bev Bevan and Roy Wood to new heights as ELO in the early 70s. Although the band has sustained over many renditions of lineup, the near original line up of Roy Wood, Jeff Lynne, Bev Bevan, and Richard Tandy were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017

‘Electric Light Orchestra – The U.K. Singles Volume One: 1972-1978’ is a must have for ELO fans, available the last week of September.
