A few weeks ago, we told you about the Oklahoma Museum of Popular Culture which is dedicated to rock and roll, opening in Tulsa Oklahoma in 2020. Now, Journey guitarist Neal Schon is getting involved, donating a portion of his memorabilia to the museum. Neal is expected to add guitars, sheet music, unpublished photographs and more to the cause.
The Oklahoma Museum of Popular Culture is designed to become a tourist attraction as well as a final resting place for Oklahoma born and bred artists and significant stars in the music industry. Elvin Bishop, Buddy Holly Cricket Tommy Allsup, Boz Scaggs, Neal, and Leon Russell are all from the great state of Oklahoma.
