Eva Longoria, Alec Baldwin, John David Washington, Ruby Rose, Jason Statham, and Director Spike Lee are all on the silver screen this weekend. If you love foreign films you’ll appreciate Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying (Lynn in the 2017 film ‘Bad Genius’) in a spy thriller with subtitles. There’s an interesting film called ‘Skate Kitchen’ that features a bunch of New York kids on skateboards, staying away from gangs to make their own kind of excitement. If you can’t wait for Shark Week, check out ‘The Meg’ with Ruby Rose and Jason Statham; a different kind of shark film.
Out pick of the week is the Spike Lee film ‘BlacKkKlansman’ based on the true story of a black undercover policeman who infiltrates the Colorado KKK with incredible imagination and tenacity. This film is as dangerous as it is interesting.
Enjoy the movies this weekend, we always do!
