Three Players We Expect to Be Traded Before the Trade Deadline

The MLB trade deadline is approaching fast and we have already seen deals made in the past week or two. Manny Machado was the biggest move, going from Baltimore to Los Angeles for a bunch of young prospects. Brad Hand, a very quality reliever, went from San Diego to Cleveland for a big-named prospect. Things are getting interesting! Here are three players we expect to be traded before the trade deadline passes…

Nick Castellanos is a name you know if you’re a Tigers fan as he’s been a young potential star for them for years now and is showing off in 2018. He’s hitting .301 with 15 home runs, so he can definitely help everyone’s lineup. Rumor has it that the Braves have been looking and they have plenty of prospects to appease the Tigers in a trade.

There’s plenty of pitching to be traded but one name we think has the best chance at actually being dealt is J.A. Happ. His recent struggles should lower his cost enough for the Blue Jays not to be able to demand too much from other teams out there.

The Brewers are more than likely going to be making at least one move this week and next as they’re thick in the race for the playoffs and the Central division. Names like Asdrubal Cabrera, Brian Dozer, and Starlin Castro could all help Milwaukee. We think Cabrera is the one that lands there by the end of the month.
