If you’re a Bob Dylan fan, you’ll want to make plans to visit Tulsa Oklahoma around 2021, as a public facility or museum of sorts will be ready to open, an initiative dedicated to holding as many Bob Dylan films, instruments, items of concert clothing, personal writings, handwritten lyrics, and collectables as this building can house.
The property and project will be overseen by the George Kaiser Family Foundation and the University of Tulsa, and with groundbreaking scheduled for 2019, the center plans to be open to the public in early 2021.
Although music fans under 40 may not be aware of Bob’s significant contributions to the art, here are a few fun facts that will demonstrate his legendary influence…
Bob became the early voice of the 60s generation, writing the most popular songs. He is the holder of 12 Grammy, an Oscar, and multiple Golden Globe Awards. He is currently in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, owns a Nobel Prize for Literature, and is the recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
