Hollywood is pleased to present a handful of wonderful movies this weekend, starring the Beatles, Jack Black, Woody Harrelson, Jessica Biel, Jonah Hill, ‘The Rock’ Dwayne Johnson, Neve Campbell, and Rooney Mara. There’s a political documentary about the Supreme Court ‘Citizens United’ decision called ‘Dark Money’ a family animation starring the voices of Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Fran Drescher, and Mel Brooks in the film ‘Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation.’
Our pick of the week comes from the reboot of the original Beatles film ‘Yellow Submarine’ from 1968. The boys in the band and director George Dunning remind all of us what it was like to be living in the 60s here in the US, and why the Beatles took the country by storm.

Dark Money (2018)

The Citizens United ruling changed politics forever, this documentary details what politicians considered in the ruling, and the Supreme Court changed the body politics to the detriment of our nation. The 8th grade can be filled with social landmines, and this teen simply wants to get through the 8th grade alive. This is an unusual comedy that we can all relate to, and this film is not that family friendly but highly entertaining. [ watch trailer]
Skyscraper (2018)

If you’re a ‘Die Hard’ or ‘Non-Stop’ fan, ‘Skyscraper’ is a film for you. An FBI Hostage Rescue Team and its leader must figure out how a skyscraper in Hong Kong suddenly caught fire. Gauguin: Voyage to Tahiti (2017)

Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far on Foot (2018)
