Traditions on the Fourth of July always seem to be hot dogs and hamburgers, a game on the television, fireworks and Joey Chestnut. It’s a tradition around the United States to sit down and watch Chestnut eat hot dogs, one of the more odd things one can do, but a great one.
Chestnut won yet another Nathan’s Famous International Hot Dog Eating Contest yesterday, hammering home 74 complete hot dogs! He did so in the allotted 10 minutes and we’re guessing is still full. This is the 11th time he’s won the contest and is clearly the LeBron James or Michael Jordan of hot dog eating by now.
Congratulations to Joey Chestnut on this amazing victory!
