New Tunes, Being Number One Is So Cool, and Your CMT Awards Update

If you think being number one is overrated, ask Keith Urban what it feels like this week, as news of his ‘Graffiti U’ making its move to the top spot this week shoving Jason Aldean’s ‘Rearview Town,’ to the second spot. Jason’s single “You Make It Easy,” however was the most heard country song on local radio, so at least he’s not completely taken off his pedestal.

By now you’ve heard that Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line and Carrie Underwood hold the most nominations in the upcoming June 6th CMT awards with four nominations each; the live broadcast will be hosted by Little Big Town. You will notice contemporary pop star Rexha, Ludacris and Justin Timberlake have received nominations in the ‘Video of the Year category.’

This week you may begin to hear new singles from Jason Aldean – “Drowns the Whiskey” (Feat. Miranda Lambert), Joe Nichols, “Billy Graham’s Bible,” Jason Nix, “Singing for the Money” and “Good Girl” from Dustin Lynch; these tunes dropping or hitting the charts as we speak.
