It’s hard to be a woman in Hollywood, just look at what the #MeToo movement has uncovered in recent months. One woman made news recently, not by accusing a co-worker or corporate executive, but by being named the director if the latest Star Trek film, Star Trek 4, the first woman to be named to the director’s chair in the popular franchise.
Please welcome S.J. Clarkson to the stage! S.J. made a name for herself with her work in television, shows like “Dexter,” “Orange is the New Black,” “Bates Motel,” and “Jessica Jones.” She also shined in her work on the Marvel’s “The Defenders” episodes this past year. In film, she’s earned her stripes as a rising star as director in ‘Bad Girls’ and this years “Collateral.’ S.J. Clarkson is making history and new friends with Star Trek fans and her peers.
