Anna Faris, Ron Livingston, Eva Longoria, Charlize Theron, Mackenzie Davis, Nathalie Baye, and Laura Smet will have you on the edge of your seat this weekend. There are two foreign films; one a love story, the other a cops and robbers movie. There’s the reprise of the Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell film from the late 80s ‘Overboard’ and a female version of the 2017 ‘getaway driver’ film ‘Baby’ called ‘Racer and the Jailbird.’
Our pick of the week is a wonderful French film called ‘Bad Samaritan’ a movie that details two criminals that break into a home, only to find the woman resident is already being held hostage in another crime in progress. The irony is so thick you could cut it with a knife.
